I've missed gatherings, postponed catch-ups, neglected replying to messages, and let "busy" become an excuse, assuming my friends would understand because we're all navigating our own challenges. Lately, I've found myself becoming more introspective.

We spend so much time and energy trying to become better individuals, parents, professionals, and leaders. But how often do we focus on being better friends? I realise I have some catching up to do.
I've missed gatherings, postponed catch-ups, neglected replying to messages, and let "busy" become an excuse, assuming my friends would understand because we're all navigating our own challenges.
Lately, I've found myself becoming more introspective. It's ironic that one can feel lonely, seek connection, and yet avoid social interactions. It's a paradox, and I think I'm not alone.
